Thanks! Yeah, i've looked at several references and it's not far off. I was aiming for it to be slightly from above so what i should have done is drawn more of the top of the head But thanks for the tip! : D
hnnnnng i love the lighting on this <3 dat blueeeee and i love how you did the markings 8D they actually look like fur, rather than painted on a flat surface xD the pose is really epic too, though i do have to agree with an earlier comment that the hind legs seem a little awkward, but canines can be flexible too 8D
Im sorry I know you didn't as for critique but there's something thats bothering me like when there's a pattern in floor tile and one of the tiles is turned the wrong way. This drawing is great. The lighting ,shading , color, and overall anatomy is perfect. But I feel like those hind legs shouldnt be visible because of the perspective of the rest of it. It looks like the hips are twisted strangely. I think the back legs would be hidden from view. That, or we'd have to see the top of its head more if we're seeing from above him a little bit. But with how the head and face is I think the legs would be hidden. sujahdhsd I'm sorry.
It's alright, i accept critiques on anything really i just don't do the formal critique because i forget! x) Yeah, i see what you mean. I had several references which showed it like this and i intended it to be almost as if the lower end was on a slope and lifted a bit higher than the rest so that you could see those back legs but i guess it would work better with a background xD I think that maybe i should have shown the head a little more from the top, yes. Thank you, and thanks for the tip! <3
